MAKER MOTION: USE THE FORCE
Come Fly With Me provides a platform, through the creation of a range of different types of paper planes, for students to recognise that pushing or pulling on an object can start or stop its motion or change its direction of travel.
MAKER MOTION: COME FLY WITH ME
The Use The Force workshop is all about dominoes… and forces. Students will learn how forces can be exerted by one object on another and some really cool dominoes tricks along the way.
MAKER MOTION: PENDULUM PANDAMONIUM
Pendulum Pandamonium engages students with a fun painting workshop. Students will explore how pushing or pulling on an object can start or stop its motion or change its direction of travel as they create art using a pendulum.
MAKER MOTION: MAKER MACHINES
In Maker Machines, your students will experiment with simple and complex machines, all made from recycled or reused materials. Students will collaborate to create a complex machine known as a Rube Goldberg Machine. The purpose of a Rube Goldberg Machine is to achieve a simple outcome (such as kicking a football through the goals) via a series of deliberately complex steps. Each step triggers another to produce a domino effect.
